We’ve updated the DTFX Gangsheet Creator to version 4.4, with a focus on making the gangsheet-building process more reliable from start to finish.

More Reliable Browser Autosave

One of the biggest improvements in v4.4 is a stronger autosave system. The builder now uses IndexedDB-first browser autosave, which is better suited to larger, image-heavy layouts than standard browser storage.

The builder also shows clearer autosave messages, including saving progress, last saved time, fallback save status, and failure warnings. If autosave cannot complete, you’ll know to manually save your editable layout.

Improved Export Progress

Exporting a full 300 DPI gangsheet can take a little time, especially with larger sheets or multiple high-resolution designs. In v4.4, the download button changes while the print file is being prepared, helping avoid double-clicks or confusion while the file is generated.

Stronger Preflight Summary

Before downloading your print file, v4.4 now gives a more useful export summary. The preflight checklist helps flag common issues before you place your order.

• Low-resolution artwork

• Stretched or distorted items
• Possible background or transparency issues
• Large export size warnings

Project Version Metadata

Saved layouts now include version information, starting with v4.4. This helps us support future updates more safely and makes it easier to handle older saved projects as the builder continues to improve.
